- Valid Certificate of Competency in accordance with STCW regulations
- Minimum 4 completed contracts as Chief Engineer on similar vessel types/sizes
- Previous experience with Wartsila RT-Flex & RTA main engines is an advantage
- Experience working with multinational crews
- Fluency in English
- Previous experience on Panamax vessels is highly desirable
